About The Event

Join certified Mindfulness Meditation teachers Sharon Shelton (visiting from North Carolina!), Susan Reviere, and Elizabeth Wilder Young for a day of mindfulness and compassion practices to cultivate inner stillness, equanimity, and joy.  This day is suitable for beginning and experienced meditators alike and will include a mix of teachings about meditation, guided meditations, and periods of silent meditation practice. There will be instructions for seated meditation, walking meditation, and mindful eating, and participants will spend most of the day in silence, focused on their inner experience and enjoying a break from the outside world.

This event is freely offered to the public by the teachers, with the space generously donated by St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Donations to support the teachers would be gratefully accepted and can be received via cash, check, Venmo or Paypal.

Participants are asked to bring a lunch to enjoy on the lunch break.  There is a refrigerator and microwave available for use as needed.
